Whether you're visiting the aquarium or just exploring the harbour area everyone is welcome to enjoy the cafe facilities.
Our popular cafe offers a wide variety of fairtrade teas, freshly ground coffee, locally sourced luxury dairy ice cream, cream and savoury teas, cakes, snacks and cold drinks. During peak times hot sausage rolls, award winning pasties and freshly prepared sandwiches are available. All items are sensibly priced and served with a smile by our friendly staff.
Facilities include a sheltered, outside seating area which can be a lovely sun-trap throughout the day. The space adjoins a large pedestrian area which is great for kids.
From the outside cafe space, specatacular views can be enjoyed of 'Verity'. At 20.25m tall and weighing 25 tonnes this bronze statue was at the end of 2012 commisioned by the internationally acclaimed artist and local resident Damien Hirst. This impressive statue is located 100m from the aquarium, at the end of the Pier and is on loan to the North Devon District Council.
Adjacent pier parking and modern toilets are also both conveniently available.
